So, It's you!

In a jest I labeled myself as a heart breaker and unconsciously I lived up to that classification for some period of time. It wasn’t my intention to hurt anyone deliberately, on the contrary it was just a spur-of-the-time-moment-kind-of-thing,immature,indecisive and playful.

For those who was once linked with me,I guess it wasn’t really love at all, it was more like pity and companionship intertwined. I needed someone to talk with and share some happy moments around and they needed me as well. Unfortunately, loitering around with them led me to confusion and that alone messed up my life. Shallow me! Shame on me!

There comes a time in every woman’s life that she just becomes bored with all the pretenses and make-believes. I’ve been there and it wasn’t a pretty site. Loneliness creeps even without being alone. That was the worst time ever!

Somehow, amidst my darkest day a ray of light appeared. Truly, love does work in mysterious way. In my case,it started with a simple talk.Unexpectedly, i fell for a man who was completely opposite of me. Who would have thought of all people,I would be interested with my neighbor?

As sure as I am writing this, the thought never crossed my mind. Well, maybe it did, but it just passed by and without me noticing,it stayed.

Simple gestures are always good for the heart. A glance, a simple smile, a nod, exchange of messages on the phone or maybe a walk along the city streets, these simple things made the heart grow fonder.

For a very long time I thought I would never feel such feeling of appreciation and respect despite the issues I had, he chose to love me in return. He showed me that it really takes two to tango in a relationship. Love, as they say is a perfect equation of give and take.

The important thing I’ve learned above all is, there is hope in love. A stone no matter how hard can still be broken by tiny drops of water. Likewise, a hardened heart can be softened by a love that is true.
